Araw ng Kalayaan


Ipinagdiwang ng grupong Yabang Pinoy ang Araw ng Kalayaan sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng dalawang araw aktibidades para sa kabataan sa lungsod ng Muntinlupa. Nagkaroon ng pagsasalaysay ng kwento tungkol sa watawat ng Pilipinas, mga Palarong Pinoy tulad ng sipa, sungka, jollen, atbp. Sinuportahan rin ito ng Wild Bird Club of the Philippines (WBCP). Pinakilala ng WBCP sa mga bata ang mga ibon sa Pilipinas. Ipagyabang natin ang ating napakadaming endemik at magagandang ibon sa bansa ! Patuloy nating protektahan at pangalagaan ang mga ibon tulad ng ating kalayaan! Salamat WBCP !

Noong ika-26 ng Abril 2006, nagsagawa ng isang programa ang Manila's Five Loveliest Foundation (M5L Foundation) ng isang fundraising na programa para sa Casa Miani orphanage at kampanya ng Yabang Pinoy. Ang mga Pinay na kabilang sa M5L Foundation ay taas noo nilang sinuot ang Yabang Pinoy band. Maraming salamat M5L Foundation !!!

Ang Soundsgood Crew at Follow Your Bliss ay nagsagawa ng isang summer party na tinawag nilang "Chillax" noong ika-9 ng Abril 2006. Iba't-ibang Pilipinong DJ ay nagpakita ng kanilang talento at ipinagyabang na sila ay Pilipino sa mga dayuhang bisita! Ang My Zoo Volunteer Foundation ay katulong ng Protected Area Wildlife Bureau (PAWB) sa pangangalaga ng mga hayop dito sa Pilipinas. Sila ay kilala sa kanilang programang "Zoo To You" kung saan ipinakikilala nila ang mga hayop sa mg kabataan. Salamat My Zoo
